I am a sales trainer and came out to Lynchburg for a ride along with one of my new reps. She pulled a target account list out of our database for Bedford county, one of the places was the Avenel Plantation. I live in Virginia Beach and my rep in Lynchburg and have never been to bedford before. So we walked up to the plantation from the back just admiring the beauty of it and the Huge front porch going door to door to see where the office is. We just concluded that since it was a Historic place maybe only open on the weekends. Well as we retuned to the car she wanted to try one more door as she is walking up to the door I see in the window above it what looked like someone looking down at my rep, all I could see was a light almost translucent gray hat, I really didnt think much of it although it was wierd. Even joked about it benig a flying ghost checking to see who was at the door (because it was so high up). Continuing to joke around I took a picture of the back of the house. We thought nothing of it until we left then it hit us it was a "historic" place there has to be a history and maybe it is haunted. A couple hours later we did a little reserach and sure enough we find out just that and some stories include a man with a hat in the window. So, freaked out, we decided to check out the pictures and to add more to the shock value... a face is in one of the pictures. I am facinated by this and I am curious if you see and think the same. I just spent hours trying to find images of who lived there and am not having the best luck.
