For our December meeting we had a very interesting and intelligent speaker Laura Eggleston.
We met in person when I gave a talk to the paranormal investigation group she belonged to at the time. Later I was fortunate enough to be on Laura & Josh's team when we investigated Waverly Hills in Kentucky. Laura and her fiancé Josh have now started their own group called The Society for Paranormal Intervention. Thier group is a nonprofit group dedicated to the victims of unwanted hauntings and/or demonic infestations. While they are not exorcists, they do help facilitate the process by documenting & presenting scientific evidence of the negative paranormal to members of the clergy. Laura and Josh do not publicize thier investigations and confidentiality is guarenteed in writing.  While the majority of paranormal groups seek some type of physical evidence when conducting an investigation, Laura and Josh’s group is very different. They seek to help those in the household that are affected by a haunting, especially a negative one. They can offer understanding and support to the household due to the fact that they have experienced a negative haunting themselves. When Laura came to talk to our group she discussed their own experiences and how they dealt with them.
